Even though, people went out of their way to do certain things, I feel like I still got white on. Since signing with Maybach Music, Omarion has remained consistent with his mixtape releases. And it really served its purpose,” he continued. “I had to ask myself some real important questions and one of those questions was, ‘Well, what was it really about for you, O?’ Not what is it about for everybody else, what is everybody thinking when you do this.
Speaking of betrayal, the Unbothered author later opened up regarding how it felt reuniting with his B2K bandmates after Fizz dated Apryl Jones, the mother of his children. “I always say I’m one of the few guys that I could turn my discipline on and off.
“I love the idea of [his daughter] A’mei being able to have other women that she can go to.
It’s like, ‘No, what is this about for you?'”
To answer his question, Omarion felt it was “so important” for him to do the tour “to remember myself.”
He explained, “We go through certain things and forget things about ourselves. I’m like, ‘Nah… it’s more to life than that,” he continued.
Omarion said that becoming celibate changed him from being a “sex symbol,” a title he’s carried since the beginning of his career.
“It allowed me to kind of step out of this world of being a sex symbol… In hindsight, it was preparing me for my contribution to music.
The former publicly apologized to Omarion during the Millennium Tour in 2021, saying, “I did some f**ked up s**t to my brother and I’m not proud of it, man.
Omarion recently shared why being celibate for three years as part of a spiritual journey.
Speaking on Shawn Stockman’s “One Note” podcast, Omarion said he was “spiritually searching for strength and personal control over myself and my body.”
“I did it for three years.
And I think that that’s the power of discipline—[it] really turns your life into just another level.”
“So, I think more than anything that I was just really just practicing discipline of self. I love women in all [their] splendor, friendships, best friends, lovers, all that.”
Omarion also said that “soul ties are a real connection with women, on the physical tip.”
“I think that’s when I was being introduced to a form of telepathy.
“‘Cause I love women.
I’m like, ‘Wow!’ That’s a different glow.”

Omarion isn’t the first R&B figure to recently share their experiences with celibacy.
Last month, Mya spoke about how foregoing sex for seven years improved her life in various ways.
“Mental clarity.
It wasn’t about nobody else; it was about me.”
After coming to terms with Fizz and Jones’ relationship, the You Got Served star admittedly forgave Fizz for himself and the fans.
“That was one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to do in my life, up to-date,” the 38-year-old began.
Fizz and Jones dated briefly from 2019 until 2020. “The rush to be in a relationship, the rush to be married, the rush to be in something because that’s what you’re taught to do — to have kids or procreate. Now I look back, I’m like, sheesh,” Omarion said. Like yo, if I don’t want to do something, I could stop today.
So I want to stand here, humbly, and sincerely apologize to you for any turmoil or dysfunction I caused between you and your family.” Jones is now dating Taye Diggs.
