Straight men gone gay

These men and their partners deserve to have a safe space to go to that is informed. However, these men and their female partners worry that they’re not straight.

4. When I told him he was showing, Mike literally turned to me and said, “Dude, I wish you were a chick.”

How It First Happened

On the very first day of the mandatory shutdown, Mike’s gym closed.

When I mentioned I was writing this piece, my friend and former flatmate Iain sent me a note.

He said: ‘You assume your mates enjoy the same safety, but that’s not the case when you’re a gay man; even here in the UK.

Living with you, I witnessed this at music festivals for dressing a certain way, to just existing out in the street.’

‘I don’t think I’ll ever really understand how that feels,’ he admitted. Sometimes their wife has discovered their Internet searches, prompting one or both into coming into my office.

These were mostly women who enjoyed a same-sex hookup but were also very religious. All described themselves as politically liberal and not religious.

5. They didn’t confuse the acts with their sexual identity. I was able to hang on to my job for a week, but ultimately got furloughed due to lack of demand.

Both of us are single, with Mike breaking up with his girlfriend shortly after the New Year.
