New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns and model Jordyn Woods are engaged!

The longtime couple announced their holiday season engagement in a joint Instagram post featuring several photos.

A representative for Towns confirmed to ABC News that the five-time NBA All-Star popped the question to Woods in front of a group of family members and friends on Christmas Eve at Overstory, a cocktail bar in New York City.

In one photo, Towns, 30, can be seen getting down on one knee.

Woods wrote in the accompanying caption, "Marry Christmas 🎄❤️💍."

Towns and Woods, 28, have been dating since May 2020.

Woods celebrated their four-year anniversary in an Instagram video post in May 2024, calling Towns her "best friend."

The Knicks beat the Cavaliers 126-124 at Madison Square Garden in New York on Christmas Day.

As they captioned the joint Instagram post alongside a red heart, Christmas tree, and diamond ring emoji, "Merry Christmas."

In another tender photo from the carousel, the couple is seen embracing the emotional moment with a hug.

The filter presented a slew of bridal gowns and accessories to be selected, perfect for “building my dream wedding vibe,” she wrote in the video with a laughing emoji.

While she wasn’t a big fan of the bridal get-up, she didn’t mind keeping fans guessing about her impending marital status.

“I don’t really love these choices right now, Jordyn, 27, said, “but since all of you keep asking when I’m getting married, might as well.”

But the questions are pretty justified considering the two have been vocal in the past about the trajectory of their friends-to-lovers relationship.

"I think it's kind of cool dating your best friend,” Jordyn, who began dating Karl-Anthony in 2020, said on her Instagram series Regular-ish in 2021.

Last year, when Towns was a four-time All-Star entering his 10th season, the team traded him to the Knicks for Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo and a first-round draft pick in a franchise-altering deal for both sides.

A representative for Woods did not immediately respond to the Associated Press’ request for comment.

Woods is an American influencer, model and actor best known for her appearances on the reality shows Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Life of Kylie, the result of her close friendship with Kylie Jenner. Woods was the focus of tabloid headlines in 2019, after a period of wild social media speculation over her connection with Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson, the father of Khloe Kardashian’s baby, True.

Adding that her support “on a daily basis” — whether in correlation to his basketball career or not — “is truly special to me.”

He added: “You know, with my mom and my sister, I’ve seen the impact that good women have on men’s lives, and I’m just blessed that I saw that firsthand before I got with Jordyn so that I could learn to appreciate her.”

Speaking with PEOPLE in 2023,  Woods said their relationship is built on their friendship.

“Friendship and trust,” Woods said at the time.

Because a lot of people don’t really get to know each other, and they go into this relationship.”

“So, we’ve been through a lot together,” she added. I’m not saying that way, but just best friends. “And ever since then, our relationship grew where we became more than friends. They also shared how the difficult times they endured, including the death of Towns’ mother, Jacqueline, in April 2020.

“Me and Jordyn met years ago, knowing common people and just became friends,” Towns explained.

And COVID gave us that free time in our lives to really get to know each other.
